A place where people can learn just what real personal motivation is, as opposed to what many people think it is. Publishers can go to "pick up" articles I write for publication under my copyright by simply doing a "cut and paste" of the article to run in their publication. The only payment required is to run my copyright indicia and sending me a checking copy of the issue in which it appears. The name of the article should be "Living Large."

THE THOMA$ FOUNDATION

This is a foundation I created specifically so I could supply money (and be able to deduct it from my income) to my search for real motivation, not the false motivation given by so-called "motivators" who try to motivate you when the only way you can be motivated is from within, using your own opinion of your talents and abilities, based on your "self-image (your opinion of your own abilities based on your previous conditioning and learning from many sources). This foundation will be a "for profit" foundation, not a tax-free, non-profit.

Why This Blog?

I've been studying personal motivation (Not the "rah, rah" kind brought you by most sales managers, after which you go out for coffee, and when you return, it's gone) since the sixties and if I've learned anything in those years, it's that motivation can only come from within. You cannot "instill it" in others. This "foundation" is not a "not-for-profit" foundation. If I make any money doing this, it's mine and will be used to continue this work. Any donations you might make are gifts (you can give gifts up to $10,000 a year without the money being counted as income for you or the recipient) and are not tax-deductible.
